Three new DVDs from “The Sisters”

We have just posted preview clips for three new DVDs by Joan Moser and Gail Boushey, “The Sisters.”

In The Daily Five for Kindergarten, you can join Joan on a visit to her lively kindergarten classroom where she teaches a whole-class lesson, leads small groups, and confers with students during rounds of Daily Five in literacy.

In One Morning: The Daily Five and CAFE in First Grade, Gail and Joan show you what the entire literacy block looks like in a classroom using Daily Five and the CAFE assessment program. The Sisters work in a first-grade classroom with teacher Courtney Tomfohr, who uses her CAFE notes to move between read-alouds, mini-lessons, small strategy groups, and individual conferences, closing her morning literacy block with writing workshop.
