It's that time again! The annual Literacy for All conference is right around the corner and many Stenhouse authors will be there, bringing their innovative thinking to share with you. We've compiled all of their sessions into this convenient document for you to print and bring with you, plus we've listed below our in-booth activities as well as the new resources that will be there--hot of the presses! NEW Resources

Patterns of Power Plus by Jeff Anderson and Whitney La Rocca. Come by the Stenhouse booth to take a look at this popular new resource for grammar instruction. We'll have all of the components out for you to pick up, explore, and discover what all the buzz is about.

Start with Joy by Katie Egan Cunningham. This book sold out at the recent ILA conference in New Orleans, which can only mean is has hit a nerve. Teachers know the importance of infusing instruction with joy, but might not be sure how to do it. This book shows you how in a friendly practical way.

Next Steps with Academic Conversations by Dr. Jeff Zwiers. Ten years ago, Stenhouse published Academic Conversations, which was one of their best sellers. This is the follow-up to that book with ten years of research and experience added in. Come by to take a look and find out what's new and how you can use it to get your students having meaningful conversations in the classrooms to build the skills that will carry over to other grades, college, career, and beyond.

Patterns of Power, en español by Jeff Anderson, Whitney La Rocca, and Caroline Sweet. bilingual teacher and coach Caroline Sweet has adapted lesson sets from the bestselling book Patterns of Power for use in the bilingual classroom. With these adaptations, you can teach Spanish-language conventions authentically using 10-minute lessons that cover key Spanish grammar topics. Come take a look!
